LaPlace Equipment Co. was originally founded as a small service company that mainly dealt in the paper mill industry. Over time, our founder James B. Oubre Jr. “Buck” realized that it would be easier to rent his equipment to the contractors than to work against them, creating a win-win for everyone.

We are a full-service rental and sales company that provides equipment and tooling support for the water blast contracting industry. We routinely have representatives ranging from huge multinational conglomerates to water blast operators of small “mom and pop” companies at our office, and we strive to treat each one with the utmost respect.
